'Circus' is a perfect example of the juxtaposition of
emotions that music can express all at once. In this case it's her soft vocal
tone describing a high energy and overwhelming circus atmosphere whilst a
luscious production lays underneath her. The combination of these things lead
to a dreamy and almost meditative state of mind whilst you listen.
